In February, Secaucus mourned the death of Mike Flaherty, beloved owner of Mike’s Ice Cream. The shop has now reopened as Uncle D’s Ice Cream, maintaining Mike’s original recipes and adding new flavors. The community has warmly welcomed the reopening, with long lines and positive feedback. Uncle D’s is cash-only and open daily.
