SECAUCUS, NJ—Local incumbents in Secaucus swept the 2025 General Election on Tuesday, with every candidate for municipal office and the Board of Education running unopposed.
The results from the November 4 election signal a continuation of the town’s current leadership, as all winning candidates were incumbents.
Mayor Michael Gonnelli, along with his “Moving Secaucus Forward” ticket, secured another term. Gonnelli has served as mayor since 2009. The re-elected council members from his party include Robert Costantino for Ward 1, Mark Dehnert for Ward 2, and William McKeever for Ward 3.
The lack of any challengers on the ballot means Secaucus residents and taxpayers will see the same administration managing municipal services, budget, and public safety for the foreseeable future.
In the race for the Secaucus Board of Education, all three incumbents on the ballot also ran unopposed and won re-election. The returning members are Alexander de Hombre, Kelli D’Addetta, and Christina DeBari.
